BABE WINKELMAN IN NEW ULM

New Ulm Public Library and New Ulm Area Sport Fishermen welcome legendary outdoorsman Babe Winkelman to the Wittenberg Collegiate Center Auditorium at Martin Luther College in New Ulm on Tuesday, September 21 at 7 p.m.

Winkelman’s “Fishing and Life Experiences” presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and autograph signing. The event is open to the public and free of charge. Seating is first-come, first-served.

This project is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library System and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.

MINNESOTA HISTORY CENTER BUS TOUR

ONLY 10 SEATS LEFT!

Join us for a trip to the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul on October 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Watch a History Player Performance, tour the Minnesota's Greatest Generation exhibit, use the research library, and more! FREE transportation and admission to the museum. You are responsible for lunch (brown bag or pay at the Cafe) and copy costs incurred at the library. STORYTELLERS PRESENTS MARC BROWN

Traverse des Sioux Library System is proud to continue the Storytellers series this fall with a visit from Marc Brown, children’s author of the Arthur book series and Emmy Award-winning Arthur TV show.

Two events will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Mr. Brown will be at Armstrong Middle School, 6th Avenue and Armstrong Boulevard South in St. James, at 10:00 a.m. and at South Central College Conference Center, 1920 Lee Boulevard in North Mankato, at 2:00 p.m. The events are open to the public and free of charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Books will be available for purchase at both events. Brown will sign books for a limited time after each event.

The event is presented by the Traverse des Sioux Library System and is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts & Cultural Heritage fund.
