Brown County Historical Society
The mission of the Brown County Historical Society is to
collect, study, research, interpret, preserve and conserve
the exhibit artifacts, and archival materials, and to
disseminate knowledge about the history of Brown County and
to relate that history to that of the State of Minnesota and
the United States of America.
Online access features comprehensive searching area for
listings of archival materials at the museum. The search box
allows for choices of different parts of their collection by
subject or name. The library is staffed regularly. Click on

German Bohemian Heritage Society
The GBHS Library - Resource Center has a collection of
books, pamphlets, periodicals, maps, photos, family and
local histories as well as audio and video tapes relating to
German-Bohemian history and culture. A copy machine and
computer-scanner-translator is available. Follow the link

Martin Luther College Library
This research library on the college campus offers a large
collection in print, several audio visual formats, research
databases, and archival collections. The collection is
accessible through the
Traverse des Sioux Library System (TdS) Regional Online
Catalog and items may be borrowed using your TdS public

Minnesota Music Hall of Fame
New Ulm was proposed as the site of the Minnesota Music Hall
of Fame back in 1962 when the idea originated to honor
musicians, both past and present, who have contributed
significantly to the Minnesota music scene. The collection
includes memorabilia of individual musicians and musical
groups as well as photographs of all who have been inducted
into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame. The MMHF is open to
