Times available:
The room is available from 8:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. in
the winter and 8:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. in the summer. In
order for staff to close the library on time or to allow the
next group to follow your event, we ask that groups observe
these closing times and the scheduled ending times of rental
closely.
Seating:
Available seating will accommodate approximately
seventy-five. Other furnishings include fourteen large
tables, some occasional tables, and a podium. There is
wireless Internet in the Library and a phone
is available for local calls. Renters are
responsible for setting up chairs, tables, furnishings, cleaning up, and
returning these items to their labeled storage areas.
Fees:
A $10 fee is charged for use of four hours or less ($20
effective 1/1/2009). A $20 fee is charged for over four
hours of use up to eight hours ($40 effective 1/1/2009). If
a group occupies the meeting room for over eight hours there will be
another $10 fee. In addition to the usage fee, a $20 damage
fee will be charged if meeting room use requirements are not
met and our staff has to perform any of the requirements. We
appreciate payment to be paid on the booking date. If billing
is necessary, a bill will be available at the main desk on
your meeting day. Notification of cancellation must be
submitted twenty-four hours ahead of the rental time or a
bill will be sent for the reserved time.
Rental Fees for equipment are listed on the Rental Form. The
people renting the TV will need to get a key at the
Circulation desk to access the controls.

After your meeting, return the room to its
standard configuration; i.e. a square of three tables
with twelve chairs around the tables.
Clean and return all other chairs and tables to their labeled
storage areas.
Place all garbage in the waste receptacle by kitchenette
door. Extra bags are located under the sink in the
kitchenette. Recyclable materials can be put in the blue
receptacle.
If necessary, use cleaning supplies under the sink in kitchenette to wipe
off tables and clean up spills.
Shut off all lights and leave the exit door closed.
*A $20 cleaning fee will be charged if these meeting
room use requirements are not met. |
